You will meet and hear from Helen Jerome, Dean of Admissions, Preeti Fibiger, Lower School Principal, Julia Calantone, Lower School Assistant Principal and Susan Abramson, Lower School Assistant Principal.
You’ll have a chance to find out more about the application process, engage in a group discussion, and take a tour of the Lower School led by Jennifer Celiberti, Director of Lower School Admissions. We are pleased to welcome prospective families to campus for a Spring Open Doors-live and in person! We warmly invite you to listen to important members of our community discuss the exciting life of a student at Dwight-Englewood School. Geared towards parents, these events introduce Avenues' mission and educational approach and provide a summary of each division. Our parent introductory events provide a vivid overview of a student’s journey through Avenues, from the Early Learning Center through Upper Division. During your visit, you will be able to observe our school in action, ask questions to faculty members and meet current parents. Our Campus Tours are designed to give you an intimate look into a Waldorf classroom. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.Įnjoy touring our Lower School campus and discover more about how we integrate the arts in all academic disciplines for children from preschool through twelfth grade to create a comprehensive educational experience. Members of the Admissions Team will discuss the School’s mission, the student population, the research-based curriculum and instructional program, and the admissions process. This virtual information session is designed to help families learn all about The Windward School.
